Ritke-Jones, Ph.D.
William Ritke-Jones is the President of CyberMations and has a doctorate in Rhetoric and Linguistics from Indiana University
of Pennsylvania and specializes in professional communications, intercultural and cyber-collaboration, and adult learning
theories. Dr. Ritke-Jones has been in higher education for seventeen years and has served as a consultant for several multinational
corporations. He has extensively studied online collaborative groups in academic and professional settings and has published
several articles in peer-reviewed journals on the subject. He has recently been invited to edit a research handbook on the
use of virtual realities such as Second Life and Wonderland for corporate training practices by Idea Publishing Group. His
study of the online technical communications programs of five major universities is the subject of a presentation at The Annual Conference on Distance Education and Learning and will
appear in book form within the year. Dr. Ritke-Jones has also completed a major study of intercultural collaboration in Second
Life virtual reality and will publish the results of that study in an upcoming book chapter for Idea Publishing and in an
article for The Journal of Second Language Writing.
